Blood Center Construction Project
Turkish Red Crescent Blood Services
The Turkish Red Crescent, through its Regional Blood Centers and Blood Donation Centers across the country, carries out activities to ensure a safe blood supply and protect public health.
Within this scope:
Blood donation activities are conducted at various locations,
Efforts are made to recruit new blood donors,
Trainings are provided to encourage voluntary and regular blood donations.
In addition to ensuring safe blood supply, our Blood Service Units also work on strategic national projects such as the plasma fractionation project (for medicine production, blood banking, etc.) and initiatives to increase stem cell donor recruitment.
To meet the growing need for blood donations in our country and to comply with evolving blood banking standards, construction is planned to improve the infrastructure of 8 Regional Blood Centers and Blood Donation Centers.
