General Support

Zakat assistance is provided by Kızılay to people in socioeconomic deprivation and poverty and disadvantaged groups (these include but are not limited to the elderly, people with disabilities, chronically ill people, poor, unemployed, migrants, disaster victims, homeless, orphans, rough sleepers, students, veterans, martyr families, delinquent children/family members, people marginalized from society, victims of abuse, seasonal agricultural workers, drug addicts, victims of terrorism). Needs of such people are identified and in line with resources available are then provided with one-time and/or regular aid in cash or in-kind.
