Non-Program Support
The in-kind and cash Zakat assistance made to individuals who are not included in the scope of any social assistance program, that is, needs to be determined as a result of social examinations carried out. These are additional special needs to those required for the bare minimum such as rent, electric and water bill support, transportation and accommodation assistance, and medicine and medical device support. Within this context, the Turkish Red Crescent has delivered Zakat assistance to people who have had difficulties in feeding their animals, aid to young people who were getting married and invoices paid to those in need.
