Every day, Kızılay soup kitchens in Türkiye and abroad prepare hot meals and set the table for kindness. Thanks to your incredible generosity, thousands of people in need are nourished by these meals throughout the year.

Since the outbreak of the conflict on October 7, 2023, Kızılay has been deeply committed to alleviating the suffering in Gaza. 

Our team on the ground has been working tirelessly to address the urgent food needs of the local community. Alongside providing critical humanitarian aid, our Gaza Soup Kitchen prepares and serves up to 15,000 hot meals every single day, ensuring that thousands of people are able to get the sustenance they need to survive and rebuild their lives.

In the absence of gas in the region, our dedicated staff collects 1.5 to 2 tons of wood and spends 10 hours preparing each meal daily. These efforts are supported by your donations, which help us expand our capacity to reach even more people in need.

Each day, long lines form outside the soup kitchen, as people wait for the one meal that will help them face another day. For many, this meal is not just food, it’s a lifeline.
