With your donation, stand by people in need as well as our elderly, patients, and persons with disabilities who are unable to cook for themselves.
81 Soup Kitchens in 81 Provinces
Through the “81 Soup Kitchens in 81 Provinces” project, we aim to deliver hot meals to even more people throughout the year. You can also contribute to the construction of soup kitchens so that people in need—and our elderly, patients, and persons with disabilities who cannot cook on their own—can access warm meals.

Since its establishment, the Turkish Red Crescent has considered it one of its core duties to set up public kitchens in crisis areas during wars, migration following wars, and natural disasters, and to distribute food and bread to those in need.
Today, our soup kitchens—operating under our Branch Directorates/Representative Offices—continue to meet the nutrition needs of vulnerable groups while also promoting solidarity and tolerance, and mobilizing society’s resources to help solve society’s challenges.
Who Benefits from Turkish Red Crescent Soup Kitchens, and How?
Nutritious hot meals prepared in Turkish Red Crescent soup kitchens are provided throughout the year:
Meat used in soup kitchens is supplied throughout the year through the sacrificial donations entrusted to us by our donors, including votive (adak), aqiqah (akika), and thanksgiving (shukr) sacrifices.
To reach more people in need, you can donate ₺50 by sending an SMS with the keyword “AŞEVİ” to 2868 through all GSM operators.

- As lunch services for students during the school term,
- And for patients, elderly individuals, and persons with disabilities who cannot come to soup kitchens, meals are delivered to their homes in special insulated containers.
